Danger in the Kitchen


I was so happy to get my Country Cutter, it makes beautiful onion strings, potato chips, and all manner of sliced edibles. I followed the directions to oil all the parts to ensure things moved smoothly and for proper "seasoning" of the wood. OUCH, I sliced my thumb open. My little white fluffball of a dog turned her head looking at me while I screamed out to no one OHHHHHHHHHHHH. She could do nothing but look at me in that doggy way that says I wish I could get what you are saying to me. Anyway 1 trip to the ER, 6 stitches later, and a big embarrassing bandage on my thumb I have learned, well Im not entirely sure what I learned but my Mother in Laws advice is to stay out of the kitchen- it's a dangerous place! I wish I could take that advice perhaps Ill try to bargain for a pizza night tonight while my thumb mends. But I can still type!
